The children will be the focus of the Village.

The children will be abandoned, orphaned or come from families that cannot adequately care for them.

The children will become a permanent part of a foster family; they will have the security of a long-term relationship with their "forever family" and the Village.

When possible, a relationship with the biological family will be encouraged and maintained.

Many structural and human components support their development and the children will be offered a variety of educational, creative and vocational opportunities.
