At this time, as we are in the early phases of the project, there are many ways to get involved. Check them out, let us know what inspires you and drop us a line. Research

Do you love doing research or surfing online? Would you like to make your surfing more meaningful? We could use your help. We need individuals to help us seek out grants and funding sources. If this is something you think you could help us with, let us know.

There are many aspects of the Project which could be further explored with the help of a Researcher. We could use information on everything from funding sources, to outreach opportunities, to composting toilets!

Design

We are seeking a creative individual to build a digital representation of the construction of the village to post on our website for awareness and fundraising purposes. Animation, claymation and other media are welcome! DONEv Thanks Jenny!

We are always eager to receive input about the design of village. If you have some inspirational ideas or some energy to put into it, drop us a line and we'll let you know where we are in the design process.

What Children's Village would be complete without a playground? Got some ideas or contacts around designing or building playgrounds? Drop us a line. Kids' input is welcome and encouraged.

We have a team of inspiring young people who are active with Project Somos in many ways. If you know someone who is between the ages of 11 and 18 who would like to make a difference in this world, they can contact us to find out how to get involved. Who better to help build a village for young people than other young people?

Digital World

Are you comfortable engaging in the virtual social world? We would love to have a presence on Second Life , and are looking for someone to create and manage a Project Somos Children's Village online in this digital world.

Education

Project Somos will be developing its own core and supplementary curriculum to use independently or in conjunction with a local school. We need people who are passionate about inspiring children of all ages to learn and grow. You would be able to assist in a variety of ways as we develop our educational plan for the young people in the Village.

Office and Online Support

Do you like organizing things? Writing emails? Making phone calls? We can always use an extra hand or two in our Vancouver office or even remotely, at times. If you feel like coming in and working side by side with us, let's chat.

Artistic Support

Are you good at taking an idea and turning into a visual? We would love to have an artistic person to call on to help us turn our inspirational visions into visual depictions. Drop us a line.
