Bamboletta Dolls

Christina and John Platt are founders and owners of this vibrant home based business located in Cobble Hill, BC. They sent Bamboletta ambassador, Lucy Bamboletta to Guatemala to share weekly reports on her adventures there. As well as donating dolls to our Benefit Fiestas, Bamboletta did an online auction and successfully raised $1100 for Project Somos! We are excited about working together closely when Project Somos is on the ground in Guatemala!

Beats Without Borders is a Vancouver based collective made up of 4 DJs/Producers who have combined forces to organize the hottest World Fusion Dance Parties in the City. They bring people of all backgrounds together on the Dance Floor, with the belief that a "Community that plays together, stays together." They donate 5% of all of their profits to Project Somos.

El Camino VolunTours is a different kind of tour company. Have you ever thought about volunteering in a developing country? El Camino arranges vacations to beautiful developing countries, where you can make a real difference while there! They offer packages that include accommodations, in-country transportation, many meals, fun excursions and a bilingual tour leader with a small group, volunteer tour, designed to fit in your limited vacation time. El Camino VolunTours and Project Somos will be working hand in hand when we're in Guatemala establishing and operating the Children's Village.

Ethical Bean Coffee

During the month of December, Ethical Bean Coffee collects $1 from every unit of coffee sold to help the children of Guatemala. The money is then donated to two charitable organizations, Child Aid's FUNDIT and Project Somos. Many thanks to Lloyd, Kim and all the amazing staff at Ethical Bean Coffee who are such amazing supporters of Project Somos! EB successfully raised $10,000 in 2008 and $21,000 in 2009!

Historic Faculty House, Minneapolis, MN

David Hoban and the Historic Faculty Team graciously hosted and generously supported a Project Somos fundraiser in Minneapolis December 2008-the first of its kind in the USA! We look forward to working closely together in the future!
